sport, recreation and play
Disability Sport Auckland is a regional sports organisation dedicated to providing sport, active recreation, and play opportunities for people with disabilities. We are inclusive of all types of disabilities, including physical, visual, learning, and intellectual.
Our members can get involved in a variety of sports, including athletics, boccia, CrossFit, rock climbing, swimming, table tennis, wheelchair rugby league, wheelchair basketball, and more! We also offer recreation and play opportunities, such as inclusive sports clubs and stunt school.
We hold monthly events that give people with disabilities the chance to try new recreational activities and connect with others in the community. We believe that having a disability will not stop you from participating in sport or being active, either individually or in a team!
