HALBERG GAMES
Halberg Games is a three-day National Sports Festival open to young people aged 8-21 with a physical or visual impairment! Athletes represent their region at their local event, which includes sports, opening and closing events, festival activities and more!
The games offers a wide range of sports such as adaptive CrossFit, athletics, swimming, golf, gymnastics, wheelchair basketball, boccia, badminton, archery, rowing, wheelchair rugby, powerchair football, rugby, turbo touch, table tennis, ambulant football, and adaptive cricket – ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Over ANZAC weekend, more than 70 of our members, along with their families and friends came together for an unforgettable Halberg Games, and wow, what a weekend! The event was packed with inspiring moments, friendly competition and non-stop smiles as athletes got stuck into a wide variety of sports and activities!
This year our Halberg Games MVP was Tillie Koloamatangi, who showed exceptional speed and sportsmanship on the athletics track, winning all of her running races.
We were also super proud of Ashley Neilson who was the recipient of ‘Moment of the Games’ as she smashed the Halberg Mile, with her parents by her side.
