Halberg Games 2026!
Over the weekend of the 10th April, more than 60 of our members, along with families and their friends, came together for an unforgettable Halberg Games experience.
It was a weekend filled with special moments, friendly competition and non-stop smiles as everyone got involved in a wide range of activities. Although the third day had to be cancelled due to the weather, the energy never dipped. If anything, it felt like everyone brought three days’ worth of enthusiasm and packed it into two incredible days.
Some of the biggest highlights from the Halberg Games:
Jemma Bishop-Read was awarded MVP for the Auckland region, for her outstanding efforts on the track, in the pool and across a bunch of different activities.
Sionann Murphy was awarded the ISPS Handa Moment of the Games for her heartfelt speech at the opening ceremony.
Cat Wilson was awarded the Flight Centre Foundation Supporter of the Games, in recognition of her incredible support in the pool, helping so many athletes feel confident and comfortable as they raced!
A massive thank you to Trillian Trust for supporting us and allowing us tor bring along so many athletes from Auckland!
